NGA Georgina Exhibition Details

JUNE 24 TO JULY 22, 2018

The Newmarket Group of Artists is very pleased to announce an exclusive opportunity for artists at the onset of this summer’s cottage season. The Georgina Art Centre and Gallery in Sutton, Ontario have invited us to showcase our works in a group exhibition geared to Lake Simcoe cottage owners.

The Georgina Art Centre and Gallery is an accredited, fully operational art gallery located in the town of Sutton, Ontario, the hub of the southern Lake Simcoe cottage country. According to their curator, the bulk of the gallery’s sales come from local wealthy, affluent cottage owners who wish to purchase art to furnish their summer homes.

Show Theme:

For this upcoming show, the theme will be “Water”, because this is a popular subject for many of the gallery’s customers who purchase water-related art pieces to decorate their cottages. Of course, the “Water” theme is open to interpretation so please don’t feel restricted by the theme as it can lend itself to many artistic applications.

Show Eligibility:

This show is open to all 2018 NGA member artists in good standing including 3D artists (jewellers, potters, textile, glass, etc. artists)
